Argentinian rugby player Nicolas Fernadez Miranda made his international debut on 28 May 1994 against the United States at the age of 21.
Since then he has won over 40 caps for his country including six as captain.
The Argentinian has become best known as a scrum half for the Argentina international rugby union side (los Pumas). He has so far scored 5 tries for Argentina.
In addition to his successful international experience, Miranda’s club career has also been of note. He has played most of his career for the Hindú Club in Argentina, where he currently plays. He spent the 2002 season playing for the South African side Natal Sharks, and the 2003 season for Padova in Italy. He then returned to Hindú Club. His brother is Juan de la Cruz Fernández Miranda.
Nicolas is a Laureus Ambassador along with his brother Juan de la Cruz Fernandez Miranda.
