The Ride

The Laureus London to Paris Bike Ride is a fantastic opportunity to spend three days cycling through beautiful scenery and to raise money for a great cause at the same time. And if that wasn’t enough you get to do it with five times Tour de France winner Miguel Indurain. In 2009, Miguel Indurain joined our riders for a day of cycling, as did Olympic Decathlon legend Daley Thompson. For the 2010 ride, Miguel was joined by former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan. If you would like to join Miguel, please register here

And don’t worry – you don’t have to be as fast as a Tour de France Winner to tale part. People of all abilities should feel free to sign up, as the team is split into groups according to ability, so that everyone can go at their own pace. All you need to do is put in some training, raise some funds and be prepared to enjoy a great experience!

Oh and did we mention it could be for FREE?

The person who recruits the most participants will earn themselves a free spot on the trip – all we need is for each participant to reference their ‘recruiter’ when they register. Just ask your friends to register here .

Fundraising

By taking part, each participant agrees to raise a minimum of £1,350 in sponsorship (hopefully more!) for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation is dedicated to helping the world's most pressing social issues through sport. We currently support over 80 projects around the world, all of which use various sports to help people overcome a wide range of problems. Whether it's encouraging youths from London to move away from gang crime or teaching African children about HIV/AIDS, it's all done through sport.
