The Laureus Foundation - the official Global Charity Partner of the International Triathlon Union - is dedicated to improving the lives of young people through the use of sport.

Laureus supports more than 70 global community sports projects combating the most serious social, economic and environmental ills facing us today. You can contribute to this work and we guarantee that all the funds raised will go to help young people around the world.

NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!

Seize the opportunity and compete at the highest level of triathlon.

Triathletes range in ability from the elite to the dedicated 'weekend runner' who is looking for an exciting challenge, so no one needs to feel intimidated.

At each event 25 Laureus places will be available in two categories – 5 Sprint and 20 Olympic Distance.

Sprint is the category for the average competitor – a 750 metre swim, a 20 kilometre cycle ride and a 5 kilometre run.

Olympic Distance is the full triathlon course – a 1,500 metre swim, a 40 kilometre cycle ride and a 10 kilometre run.

At every event each Laureus runner will find a Laureus tent and a sporting legend – one of the members of the Laureus World Sports Academy - on hand to wish competitors good luck, give them last minute advice and be there to congratulate them on their return.

The money you raise will help us support over 70 projects around the world, utilizing sport as a means of tackling some of the gravest problems facing young people today. With your help Laureus will continue to improve the lives of more than one million young people.
