Although he won only one major championship in 2007 - the US PGA Championship - Tiger Woods had an excellent year. He tied for second in the US Masters and the US Open and took his total wins on the US Tour to 61 in just his 12th season. His seven US Tour wins included two World Golf Championship events – the CA Championship and the Bridgestone Invitational – and the end-of-season Tour Championship event. His US Tour earnings alone in 2007 were US$10.8 million.
