About the 2012 Awards
The 2012 Laureus World Sports Awards is coming to London at the start of what will be a truly special year for sport in the English capital. The Ceremony will be broadcast to a worldwide TV audience from the heart of London at Central Hall, Westminster, on the evening of Monday, February 6. The event provides a high profile focus as stars of the sporting world come together to salute the finest sports performances of the year.
Proceeds from the Laureus World Sports Awards directly benefit and underpin the work of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation which supports almost 80 community projects around the world which have helped to improve the lives of more than one million young people through the use of sport.
