Project overview
Chicago Run mission is to promote health and wellness of Chicago children through innovative, engaging, and sustainable youth running programs. Through the fun and discipline of regular running routines, we help children improve health habits, build friendships, and strengthen their bodies’ one enthusiastic step at a time!
How we achieve these goals
In partnership with the Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Run implements and supports our youth running programs in 55 elementary schools, serving 13,000 students in high need communities across the city.

Health and Fitness:

Chicago Run provides 15 minutes of running/walking during the school day (during recess, lunch hour or a fitness break), 3-5 times a week
