YLC Kicks, the newest project of the Young Leadership Council, strives to bring the beautiful game to every neighborhood, playground park and kids of all ages in New Orleans. Introducing the global game and engaging communities and coaches through fair play, respect, and physical activity, YLC Kicks equips kids with the skills they need to live a healthier, safer and more active lives.
The Westbank Wrestling Club is dedicated to providing a holistic program that will help at-risk youth become self-reliant members of society with high self-esteem and explicate how success in wrestling can be translated into achievement in the development of life skills and in the classroom.
Success Preparatory Academy (SPA) works to develop college bound students for leadership and lifelong learning. Opened in 2009 and serving 380 youth from kindergarten to 5th grade, SPA is dedicated to adding a grade per year until it reaches 8th grade.
