The programme idea is run in a "Try - Train - Team" model, with participants being given an initial 8 weeks of sessions, who have already been consulted with to choose multiple activities on each visit, then moving to the second phase of regularly attending and developing relationships with peers and the sport itself. This moves into the third phase of creating a team in week 16 onwards with training and regular sessions for young people to take part in an ongoing basis.
"We intend to continually enhance Barking’s sporting offer through becoming a hub for the whole community to access; enabling children and young people to engage with sporting activities, build connections and foster social integration."
