Fong Lik Sun

Alex Fong is a former swimmer, who represented Hong Kong at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 and held many national records. He has since gone on to become a popular singer in Hong Kong.

In Sydney he competed in the men's 200m individual medley, men's 400m individual medley and men's 200m backstroke, winning heats in the 400m individual medley and 200m backstroke.
He was not able to convert that into medals, however he did create several Hong Kong records which still stand today. He also played a significant part in creating the Hong Kong Swimming Academy.
In 2001 he caught the attention of record executives because of his popularity as a sports star among teenage girls, and, after auditions, he became a singer. He worked with Stephy Tang of the Cookies/Mini Cookies band for several years.
Fong soon moved on to movies and starred in several successes L for Love L for Lies, Love Is Not All Around, Marriage with a Fool and Anniversary. In addition he was also one of the hosts of television show Beautiful Cooking.
