‘Ronaldo is the most enjoyable player I’ve ever watched’ Bobby Charlton tells Laureus

Mancehster United legend Bobby Charlton has played against and watched hundreds of the world’s top footballers during his career.
Now he has revealed Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo is the one he enjoys watching the most.

Talking to Laureus.com, Bobby said: “He is the most enjoyable player to watch that I’ve ever seen. He is so fast, so inventive, just magic.
“I wonder if ever the day would come when maybe he would come and play for us [Manchester United] again.  I don’t think it will happen, but you never know.”
Whether or not the Portuguese does return to United, Where Bobby is a director, he remains confident that good times lie ahead for the club.
Bobby said: “We’ve had a really, really tricky year and I’m quite hopeful that it won’t be long in the future before we actually line up to perform against the best. We’ve got a new manager, new outlook, a new style.”
That incoming manager is current Holland coach Louis van Gaal, and looking forward to the impact he might make, Bobby said: It’ll be very interesting to see how he comes along and how he works.  He’s obviously a, very important person with regard to the Dutch. I think that he will certainly be a very, very good performer for us.”
