Project overview

In Ghana unemployment rates have steadily risen over the last three years from 4% to 8.7%, meanin they have more than doubled in that time. Despite being one of the most stable countries in Western Africa, a lack of options for Ghanaians both in Ghana and neighbouring countries has left few options for youth.

With above average levels of educational attainment in Ghana but a lack of employment pathways, Right to Dream have stepped in to use football as a means of closing that gap.

Right to Dream focuses on the development of student-athletes through football, education and character development enabling them to access RtD's world-class graduate pathways, including US college scholarships for many students.
