The US Women's Soccer team were crowned World Champions in 1999 in what became the most-watched women's match ever with over 90,000 filling the Rose Ball in Pasedena to see the hosts beat China on penalties.
One of the most enduring images from the match was Brandi Chastain whirling her shirt above her head at the end of the game.
