Became the most medalled T54 athlete at last year’s IPC world championships at Lille in France, winning gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 400m sprint events and a bronze in the 800m. Took gold in the 800 metres at last year’s Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England, the first time a wheelchair event was given full-medal status at an able-bodied event. Also won the 100m and 400m at the European championships in Berlin.
