Brazil’s Kaka took over the title of best player in the world in 2007.  The 25-year-old goalscoring midfield player guided AC Milan to the European Champions League title in May and finished as the competition’s leading goalscorer.  He has received three prestigious awards which acknowledge his supremacy – the FIFA World Player of the Year, the International Football Players Association (FIFPRO) World Player of the Year and France Football magazine’s Ballon d’Or award.
