Became one of the leading performers at London 2012, when she won three gold medals at one Olympiad to match the great Wilma Rudolph and Florence Griffith-Joyner. She won the individual 200 metres, improving on silver medals in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, and also won gold medals in the 4 x 100 metres and the 4 x 400 metres relay.
The American team in the 4 x 100 of Felix, Carmelita Jeter, Bianca Knight and Tianna Madison broke the 27-year-old world record set by East Germany in 1985.  Now 26, in her career she has also won three world championship 200 metres gold medals, in Helsinki (2005), Osaka (2007) and Berlin (2009) and five more relay golds.
