Ukraine’s Olga Sviderska was the leading women’s athlete at the IPC Swimming World Championships, winning every race in which she competed, taking five individual gold medals and two relay golds. She also broke three world records – 200 metres freestyle, 100 metres freestyle and 150 metres individual medley - and four European records in the process. Sviderska was part of the highly successful Ukrainian squad that topped the medals table with 33 gold, 22 silver and 13 bronze medals.
