Became the fastest female Paralympian in the world when she lowered the 100 metres T12 world record to 11.48 secs at the IPC World Championships in October. In addition to this blue riband performance, the visually impaired runner won impressively throughout the year. At the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games she won 100m, 200m and 400m gold, breaking the 200m world record twice and lowering the 100m record to 11.65 secs, taking .26 secs off the previous mark. At the World Championships, in addition to her further 100m success, she also won the 200m and 400m, breaking four world records in total at the event.
