Using an innovative model focused on soccer, school and service, GOALS Haiti engages youth and their families from communities across Haiti in programs that emphasize education, health and the environment to improve quality of life. With 90% of GOALS Haiti’s program participants never having played sports before, GOALS Haiti uses the power of sport to reach underrepresented youth and provide them with opportunities to become leaders in their communities. Play Academy will support GOALS Haiti in their aim to empower more girls with the opportunity to access and benefit from play and sport by hiring more female coaches – thereby making the majority of the program’s coaches female.
