Discrimination towards those with disabilities, different sexual orientations, and other differences is still prevalent in society. Mexico City is also ranked within the top three cities in the country with the highest incidence of violence.

Creating more active, accepting and peaceful young people is their mission. With the support of Laureus, Deportes Para Compartir is working in a number of primary schools in Mexico City to deliver their methodology to not only improve the quality and content of physical education classes, but to train teachers in delivering high-quality classes.  They work with over 900 children ages 6 to 12 across four different schools, training over 35 teachers in the process.
