First Break Academy
The mission of First Break Academy is to provide underserved youth in Carson, CA and other surrounding communities with the fundamentals of tennis play and academic strategies – building champions in life that will succeed on the court, in the classroom and as active, engaged adults. 70 percent of First Break Academy participants are girls. Funding from Play Academy will support First Break Academy’s goal to expand their programming to additional schools in 2022 and beyond.
