Play International is a leading French Sport for Development organization based in Paris, France.

The programme’s underlying mission is to use sport as a tool for education and social change. It works across major cities in France, but has developed initiatives in over 15 countries, creating ways for children to learn, be included and overcome trauma through play.

Laureus is working with Play International to pilot a new programme working with 340 children in specialized child protection systems, including unaccompanied minors, youth offenders and those placed with social services.  

Through socio-sports and 'Playdagogy' sessions, sport and games are used to promote equal opportunities, co-operation and respect, fighting against discrimination, and enabling peaceful management of conflicts.
