This Sport for Good project has been running for over three years in the Corviale district, located in the southwestern edge of the city. The social housing complex of Corviale is a ground-scraper 1 km long, nicknamed ‘The Monster’ or ‘The Serpent’ and despite its critics, is still home to thousands of residents, most of whom express attachment to and pride for their home. The Corviale building and the surrounding Corviale neighbourhood form a vibrant, diverse community that provides many opportunities for local improvement, both physical and social, while maintaining its own unique identity.

Right at the foot of this building is the Campo dei Miracoli, a sports and social centre where social football is practiced, a new football philosophy in which everyone can play against everyone regardless of age, gender and disability. The rules are based on the respect and honesty of the players on the pitch.
