Laureus supports 13 girls between the ages of 10 and 13 years old who practice volleyball in the Corvetto and Gallaratese districts, in collaboration with Cem Torricelli and Pol. Garegnano.

For these girls, volleyball is an instrument of rebirth made up of a “comfort zone” where girls, in the pre-adolescence phase, hide behind a body that is undergoing rapid change. Volleyball sets boundaries, like the net, which separates them from opponents. Those boundaries become a safe place for them to express themselves to the maximum by throwing themselves to the ground for a reception or jumping high to block and crush. Volleyball removes distances and allows these girls to develop their skills, in which to lose a point but immediately go into a position ready to receive, lift the ball and hit.

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964.
