KMEWO was established in 1999 to work with women and girls who have fled civil war, state and gender prosecution, domestic violence and the threat of honour killing and FGM. The aim of their programme is to provide sport sessions (including swimming and yoga)alongside social activities, advice surgeries and sessions on domestic abuse, parenting and services available in the community.
