Rio Ferdinand Foundation

The Rio Ferdinand Foundation was established to address racial and social inequality faced by young people in the community. The foundation empowers youth to tackle racism and provides skills and pathways to realize personal potential and social mobility. Their programming Unlock You Potential will be supported by funds from the Community Empowerment Program to continue offering weekly sport, music and art sessions paired with life skills and personal development workshops and events. Around 285 young people ages 13-21 will take an active role using their leadership training to organize community activations like sports tournaments and career talks by noted local industry professionals.
