Shanghai delegation visits London to discuss future co-operation with Laureus

A delegation from Chinese textile giant HengYuanXiang Group (HYX), Host Partner of the 2015 Laureus World Sports Awards in Shanghai, have visited London for discussions with Laureus World Sports Awards Limited.

Enjoying a long-standing reputation in China, HYX is a leading force in the Chinese Olympic space. For many years, HYX has actively focused on sport. HYX was represented in the talks by CEO Richard Chen and General Manager Stanley Li. Future plans were discussed, which will be announced in the coming months.

Earlier this year,  along with Shanghai Municipal government, HYX hosted the Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony in Shanghai. It was a highly successful event and has been the catalyst for an ongoing programme of work by the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation in China.

Following the Shanghai Awards, Laureus expanded its program support of physical education programmes across the country, training over 1,000 coaches and putting plans in place to reach out to as many as 150,000 young people over the next few years.
