Swinging wonder

Tommy Morrissey is a passionate young golfer who has qualified three times for the US Kids World Championship. But there is a big difference between the seven-year-old from Palm Beach Gardens and those he is competing against – he was born without most of his right arm. He first started watching golf at 14 months on TV. By 18 months he was imitating the golf swing. By three, he had his own set of golf clubs and was a regular on the golf course. “He’s defeating stereotypes,” says Tommy’s mother Marcia. “He’s got one arm and he’s competing against kids with two arms. He’s inspiring a lot of other people.”
