Beatrice ‘Bebe’ Vio had a passion for fencing from a young age. After contracting meningitis at the age of eleven, necrosis led to the amputation of her lower arms and legs. She continued to compete in Wheelchair Fencing becoming Paralympic Champion at Rio in 2016.
