Jonathan Hill to step down as CEO of Laureus World Sports Awards

Laureus World Sports Awards Ltd, who celebrated their 20th Anniversary Awards on Monday night in Berlin, has announced the departure of Jonathan Hill as its CEO.

"Jonathan has made a significant impact on the business since joining us in October 2017, raising the profile of the Laureus platform across the wider sporting and media community and we thank him for his hard work and dedication and wish him well in the future" said the Laureus Board.

Hill commented "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Laureus and supporting the vision of Nelson Mandela around the power of sport to change young lives but for me personally the time is now right to move on to a new challenge but I know the organisation is well placed and in good hands to keep moving forward".
