Laureus pays tribute to Claude Nobs

It is with great regret that we say goodbye to our dear friend Claude Nobs who has passed away following a recent ski accident.
Claude had been a valued Board Member of the Laureus Foundation Switzerland for some years but he will forever be remembered as a man responsible for great things in the world of music.
A passionate lover of jazz, Claude founded the famous Montreux Jazz Festival in 1967, an event that has gone on to become of international importance and popularity.
Everyone at Laureus would like to send their thoughts and condolences to Claude’s family and friends at this difficult time.
