Laureus Academy Members, Ambassadors and project leaders took part in a series of successful workshops on the third an final of the Laureus Sport for Good Summit at the Rhein-Neckar Arena in Germany.
In the morning, Laureus Ambassador and big-wave surginf world champion Sebastian Steudtner took the stage to share his inspiring story which took him to the summit of world surfing.
the group met in small “Tribes” to discuss creativity and innovation as well as funding and support.
We then heard from Laureus Academy Members Sean Fitzpatrick and Hugo Porta and Laureus Ambassador Tamika Catchings, who discussed their rise and challenges.
Everyone then headed to the nearby Alla Hopp Park, funded by the Dietmar Hopp Foundation, where they participated in some fun outdoor activities.
The Laureus Summit 2016 concluded with some final wrap-up words by some of the project leaders and Laureus Sport for Good Global Director Andy Griffiths.
But to finish things off in style, All Blacks legend Sean Fitzpatrick conducted the famous Haka with all the participants.
That’s all for the 2016 Laureus Summit 2016. We will see you again in 2018!
