Laureus World Sports Awards to be shown around the world

The 2019 Laureus World Sports Awards will be broadcast live and delayed to a record number of countries and territories worldwide. This year the ceremony will be available in over 200 countries and territories around the world, giving millions of people the chance to view the premier honours event on the international sporting calendar. The number of countries and territories broadcasting the Awards is a significant increase on the previous year, placing Laureus among the world’s best distributed global Awards shows.   
The Laureus World Sports Awards will be aired on Sky in the UK, Sky Deutschland in Germany, Sky Italia in Italy, across France on BeIN France and on TVE/Teledeporte in Spain. The Awards will be broadcast on NBC in the United States, on Foxsports in Australia, Starsports in India and Foxsports throughout Asia.  
Eurosport will also air a special edition broadcast throughout Europe, while Supersport will broadcast the Awards throughout Africa, beIN Sports will broadcast to the Middle East, Globo will air the event in Brazil and ESPN cover the Awards in Latin America and the Caribbean. Sports fans around the world are encouraged to check their local TV listings for full details of when the Awards will be broadcast in their country or territory.   
The list of global broadcasters includes more than 50 other broadcasters globally and includes; Trace, TVI, MBC Mauritius, NBC Namibia, ZNBC, Channel 13 Uruguay, RCN - Winsports, Telerama, Viasat, Olympic Channel, Shant TV, Match TV, True Visions, SMG/Great Sports, Star Sports China, Silknet, Metro TV, Channel 5, RTM, RPN, Media Corp, SET, TRT Spor, VTV, ORF, BNT, HRT, Sigma TV, ERT, TG4, Lithuanian TV, Monaco Info, Digi Sport, RTS, SRF, 1+1, Sky New Zealand among others.
Laureus news segments will feature on all significant global news networks including CNN, BBC Worldwide, Al Jazeera, France 24, Eurosport, RT, TRT World, CGTN, NHK World, DW, TVE Int and RTPI.   
The annual Laureus Awards Ceremony honours the greatest and most inspirational sporting triumphs of the year and showcases the work of Laureus Sport for Good. The Awards Ceremony will be attended by a star-studded audience of sportsmen and sportswomen from around the world. Hosted by actor James Marsden, the Awards will also feature entertainment from leading singer-songwriter Jorja Smith.
