Sport greats join Laureus Netherlands for family event

Last week the Laureus Foundation Netherlands held a special Family Event in Eindhoven.
Laureus Ambassadors Esther Vergeer, Edwin van der Sar, Yvonne van Gennip joined Pieter van den Hoogenband to help raise funds for his new project that is encouraging young people to start swimming.
An important part of the Laureus Family Event are the clinics. The Ambassadors helped organise multiple active clinics for participants.
Pieter van den Hoogenband shows attendees what it takes to win a gold Olympic medal, Esther Vergeer, who was undefeated over 10 years and 470 matches in wheelchair tennis, demonstrated what it takes to spend many years undefeated at the top of her game. Meanwhile Edwin van der Sar shared his years international experience with the audience and Yvonne van Gennip organised a skating clinic alongside Vergeer.
