Stern Auto B.V. and Laureus The Netherlands sign cooperation agreement
A cooperation agreement between Mercedes-Benz dealer Stern Auto B.V. and Laureus the Netherlands has been signed. Stern Auto, with 11 offices in the middle of the Netherlands, will be closely involved with Laureus the Netherlands and its projects. Through this cooperation Laureus the Netherlands is able to improve its reputation among the consumers.
Stern Auto is an official Mercedes-Benz dealer which focusses specifically on the sale and maintenance of cars, vans and trucks (SternTrucks). With Mercedes-Benz as one of the Global partners of Laureus, and Mercedes-Benz the Netherlands as one of the founding members of Laureus the Netherlands, the link with Stern Auto seems logical. The Stern Auto car dealers also consist out of the car brand Smart. Sustainability plays a pivotal role in the business operations of Stern Auto. In December 2012, Stern Auto became officially ‘'Erkend Duurzaam' (‘Accredited Sustainable') certified; additionally, Stern Auto was the most customer oriented dealer in 2013 with a customer satisfaction level of 88.9%.
“With this cooperation we create another interesting liaison for our foundation” said Edwin van der Sar, former Dutch and Manchester United goalkeeper and Laureus Ambassador. "With Stern Auto, we are able to give an extra quality impulse to the scope of our projects, besides sports we are now able to extent it to educational opportunities. In late December, participants of the Laureus PannAcademy will visit one of the Stern Auto dealers and come into contact with car mechanics and through an interactive workshop will get some personal experience with this field of work.”
The cooperation with Laureus the Netherlands is an appropriate addition to the current activities of Stern Auto.
