The Laureus World Sports Awards 2013 are just days away and this is your chance to say who you think deserves to be victorious on the night.
Of course, it’s not an easy task to pick the world’s best sportsperson when the Nominees don’t even play the same game. So, to make it as easy as possible, you will find all the hopefuls below listed with their greatest achievements and statistics from 2012.

Usain Bolt (Jamaica) Athletics
  • Won 100 metres, 200 metres Olympic gold
  • 4 x 100 metres Olympic gold
  • Holds both 100 metres and 200 metres world records

Mo Farah (United Kingdom) Athletics
  • Won Olympic 5,000 and 10,000 metres
  • Successfully defended European Championship 5,000 metres title

  • Won Tour de France
  • Won Olympic Time Trial gold medal
  • Won the Paris to Nice
  • Won Tour de Romandie
  • Won Tour du Dauphiné
Sebastian Vettel (Germany) Motor Sport
  • Won his third straight Formula One World Championship
  • Only Juan Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher have a better record of consecutive titles.
  • The key to Vettel’s victory came from four straight Grand Prix wins in Singapore, Japan, Korea and India.
