Tuesday, 22 September 2009 dawned bright with hope in Amsterdam as some of Holland’s greatest sports stars came together to launch the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation The Netherlands.
Under the leadership of HH Prince Pieter-Christiaan van Oranje and together with the ambassadors; Esther Vergeer, Yvonne van Gennip, Edwin van der Sar, Teun de Nooijer and Pieter van den Hoogenband, the Laureus Foundation the Netherlands has already begun its Sport for Good work by initiating support for several programmes throughout The Netherlands.
