Mentor on The Move: Sport-Based Mentoring Across Borders
“Mentor on The Move: Sport-Based Mentoring Across Borders” is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Its main objective is to make physical activity and sports more accessible and welcoming for migrant women and other vulnerable groups by training organisations and professionals working in the fields of sports, migration, or social inclusion. The project will develop, test, and disseminate a sport-based mentoring programme aimed at promoting the personal development and autonomy of migrant women and other groups at risk of social exclusion due to socio-economic factors. The project is coordinated by Monaliiku – Monikansallisten naisten hyvinvointi ja liikunta ry (Monaliiku), Finland, with partners being the Suceava County Association for Sport for All, Migration Institute of Finland, Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, UK, Plan International Spain, Minor Ndako & Juna, Belgium, and International Olympic Truce, Greece
