Bracht

Timo Bracht is a former German triathlete. He started his Triathlon career in 1993 and celebrated in 2003 winning the Ironman France in Gérardmer. He is a European triathlon champion in long distance (2012) and is listed as one of the best list of German triathletes in the Ironman distance. He has completed the Ironman in Hawaii 14 times, a total of nine Ironman victories and three European championship titles are among his successes.

Timo Bracht has always been fascinated by sports. He studied sport science with a focus on rehabilitation and prevention, which led to starting his career as a triathlete in 1993. He competed as an amateur between 2000 - 2002 before turning his hobby into a profession in 2003. Since then he has completed the Ironman in Hawaii 14 times and won nine other Triathlon Ironman races. He was crowned European Triathlon Champion in 2007, 2009 and 2012.

Timo Bracht is the most successful long-distance German triathlete, which is measured by the number of Ironman victories and also, the number of podium placements. What’s more, he was part of the triathlon team “Sport for Good” and raised money for Laureus. After finishing racinf, Timo Bracht began working as a coach. Hailed by his students as a fantastic trainer, he focuses not only on the physical preparation but also on mental strength and ability. Now, he continues to work as a trainer and a professional speaker, working at the Trimedica Sport Centre as a consultant and coach.
