A captain in all formats of the game, Shaun took over 400 test wickets and at the time of his retirement, was one of just six players to have scored 3000 runs & taken 300 wickets in Test Matches. He was rated as world number one for Test bowling and ODI bowling during his career.
Since his 108 Tests and 303 ODI’s, Shaun has taken to the commentary box, working with South African broadcasters SuperSport to cover South African cricket. Shaun is a committed Laureus Ambassador, advocating for the work Laureus supports in his home country. An inspiration to many, Shaun is set to rewind the clock on his playing days and discuss the powerful role Laureus can play in society.
