Serena Williams followed up her remarkable achievement of 2002/2003 when she held all four Grand Slam titles and was named Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year, with another Wimbledon victory in 2003, beating her sister Venus Williams in the final. It meant she had won five Grand Slam events out of the last six.
