Ryan Sheckler has been skating at X Games since he was just 13, when he became the youngest athlete ever to win an X Games gold medal.  Since then he has become one of the core street skaters in the world.  His arsenal of tricks, clean airs and speed helped him dominate on this year's Action Sports Tour. While Shaun White was whipping his opponents in the Vert category, Sheckler, at 17, was equally imposing in the Park category. His 450 points out of a possible 500 beat White's 426. During the year, Sheckler won the Panasonic Open, the Right Guard Open, and the Toyota Challenge while notching seconds in the Tour's other two events.
