Brazil’s Bob Burnquist won his fifth consecutive Big Air gold medal at X Games Munich, at the age of 36, bringing his total medal count to 25, the most in X Games history, surpassing BMX legend Dave Mirra. Burnquist has appeared in every X Games, winning 12 gold, six silver and seven bronze in 52 events. His victory in Munich meant he had won five straight gold medals in the event. In the full-run section, Burnquist jumped from fifth to the top of the leaderboard with his signature Indy 360, pushing the 20-foot mark above the lip of the quarterpipe.
