Goggia became the first Italian woman to win an Olympic Downhill gold medal in 2018. She also won the season-long World Cup title in Downhill, edging out the great Lindsey Vonn by three points. Her highlights were victories in Bad Kleinkirchheim and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
