Principally a wheelchair track specialist at distances from 400 to 1,500 metres, in 2022 she moved up to compete in her first marathons as part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors Series. In her debut in September she won gold in the Berlin Marathon, and seven days later won the London Marathon, with a new course record. Back on the track she set four world records at the Nottwil Para event in Switzerland.
