Banned for one year during the 2003 Cricket World Cup for taking an illegal diuretic, Warne was rushed back into the Australian team in 2004 at the end of his suspension and made a dramatic impact, breaking the world record for the highest number of Test wickets taken with 566 in 120 Test matches.
Regarded as the best leg spinner ever, since his return he has taken 75 wickets in 13 matches.
During his career Warne has revolutionised cricket thinking with his mastery of what many cricket authorities regarded as the dying art of spin bowling, combining the ability to turn the ball huge distances, even on unhelpful pitches, with unerring accuracy and a wide variation of deliveries.
