Laura Kenny (née Trott) won two gold medals in Rio de Janeiro to make her Britain’s most successful female Olympian with four golds. She won the Team Pursuit and the Omnium, as she did in London in 2012. She is the most successful female track cyclist in Olympic history. In 2016 she also won World Championship gold medals in the Omnium and the Scratch Race and bronze in the Team Pursuit. She married fellow British cyclist Jason Kenny in September. Between them they have won ten Olympic gold medals.
