Although the weather interrupted her plans to compete in four Winter Olympic events, Shiffrin won gold in the Giant Slalom and silver in the Combined. Throughout the winter she dominated the World Cup, taking both Overall and Slalom titles for the second straight year, showing her versatility by winning 12 races including Slalom, Giant Slalom, Parallel Slalom and Downhill.
