A 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 semi-final victory against Aryna Sabalenka led to a 6-0, 6-0 Wimbledon final defeat to Iga Światek, however, she recovered to beat Światek on home soil 6-4, 6-3 at the US Open. Anisimova went on to win the China Open in October, dispatching world No.2 Coco Gauff 6-1, 6-2 in the semi-final. She also won the title in Doha and achieved a year-end ranking of No.4.
