Won their 16th Ryder Cup with a 15-13 win over the USA in New York: Europe’s first away win since 2012. Built up a 7-point lead within the first two days of the competition, which saw Team Europe winning the opening two sets of foursomes and fourballs. On the final day, Shane Lowry halved his match against Russell Henley to retain the cup, before Tyrrell Hatton won a half-point against Collin Morikawa to seal the win outright. Top-scorer Tommy Fleetwood contributed four points, while debutant Ludvig Åberg collected two points and defeated Patrick Cantlay in his singles match.
