At 22, Ledecká became the first woman to win gold in two different sports at the Winter Olympics. She took the Alpine Super-G, where she was ranked 49th, beating defending champion Anna Veith and the great Lindsey Vonn. Then she switched to Snowboard to win the Parallel Giant Slalom. After her success, the Czech team chose her as flag bearer at the Closing Ceremony.
